Composition
Each gram of Kimia Danofloxacin® powder contains 167 mg of danofloxacin (mesylate).
Indications
Indicated for the control and treatment of infections caused by danofloxacin-sensitive microorganisms, including:

Colibacillosis
-
CRD complex (Chronic Respiratory Disease complex)
-
Mycoplasmosis
-
Salmonellosis
Dosage and Administration
3 g of powder in 10 liters of drinking water
(equivalent to 5 mg of pure danofloxacin per kg of live body weight in poultry)
for 3 days, or according to disease severity and veterinary prescription.
Important: First dissolve the required daily dose in 10 liters of lukewarm water, then add it to the main drinking water source.

Contraindications
Use of danofloxacin is contraindicated in laying poultry during the laying period when eggs are intended for human consumption.
Drug Interactions
Concurrent administration with divalent and trivalent cations such as calcium, magnesium, and aluminum reduces drug absorption.
Withdrawal Period
Discontinue use 3 days prior to slaughter of poultry
