Composition

Each gram of powder contains:

  • Sulfadiazine: 250 mg

  • Trimethoprim: 50 mg

Indications

Kimia Synotrim 300® is indicated for the control and treatment of various gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases caused by bacteria sensitive to sulfadiazine + trimethoprim, including:

  • Escherichia coli

  • Avibacterium spp.

  • Pasteurella spp.

  • Salmonella spp.

  • Staphylococcus spp.

  • Streptococcus spp.

in poultry.

Dosage and Administration

1 kg of powder per 1 ton of feed for 5–6 days.

Note: Dosage and duration of treatment may vary depending on the type and severity of the disease and should be determined by a veterinarian.

Contraindications

  • Contraindicated in laying poultry producing eggs for human consumption.

  • Do not use in animals hypersensitive to sulfonamides or in cases of severe hepatic or renal insufficiency.

Drug Interactions

Avoid concurrent administration with polypeptide antibiotics and aminoglycosides.

Withdrawal Period

  • Broiler poultry: Discontinue use 5 days prior to slaughter.

Precautions

  • After opening the package, use the product within 60 days.

  • The prepared medicated feed must be used within a maximum of 24 hours.
