Composition

Each gram of KIMIA O.R.S® powder contains:

  • Sodium Chloride: 145 mg

  • Potassium Chloride: 40 mg

  • Trisodium Citrate: 165 mg

  • Dextrose: 650 mg

Indications

  • Replenishment of body fluids and electrolytes during diarrhea (especially in young calves)

  • Electrolyte balance during diseases and stress conditions

  • Treatment of acidosis and replacement of sodium and potassium during acidosis

Dosage and Administration

Dissolve 25 g of KIMIA O.R.S® in 1 liter of drinking water.
Administer 1–1.5 liters of the prepared solution, adjusted to the animal’s body weight, three times daily for 3–4 days.

Note: Dosage and duration should preferably be determined by a veterinarian based on clinical judgment.

Contraindications

Contraindicated in animals with obstruction of the upper gastrointestinal tract.

Withdrawal Period

None.

Precautions

The prepared solution containing the product should be used within 12 hours.
