Composition

Each gram of KIMIA Cycline 50-S powder contains:

  • Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride: 500 mg

Indications

KIMIA Cycline 50-S is used for the control and treatment of diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to oxytetracycline, including:

  • Infectious sinusitis, colibacillosis, and CRD

  • Fowl cholera

  • Gastrointestinal infections, microbial diarrhea, and white diarrhea of chicks

  • Hexamitiasis, infectious synovitis, and blue comb disease in turkeys

Dosage and Administration

  • 500–1,000 g of KIMIA Cycline 50-S per 1,000 liters of drinking water, depending on age and body weight, as well as environmental humidity and temperature.

Note: The duration and dosage depend on the type and severity of the disease and should preferably be determined by a veterinarian.

Contraindications

  • Use is contraindicated in laying poultry during the laying period when eggs are intended for human consumption.

Drug Interactions

  • Concurrent administration of oxytetracycline with beta-lactams, macrolides, aminoglycosides, and divalent or trivalent cations such as aluminum, calcium, magnesium, and iron may result in drug interactions.

Withdrawal Period

  • Discontinue use 5 days before slaughter of poultry.

Precautions

  • After opening the package, use the contents within 30 days.

  • Prepared medicated solutions should be used within 24 hours.

  • Keep out of reach of children.
