Composition
Each liter of Kimia Bendazole 2.5 contains:

Albendazole: 25 g
Indications
Albendazole is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic effective against various stages (eggs, larvae, immature and adult forms) of parasites, including:
-
Gastrointestinal nematodes:
Haemonchus, Nematodirus, Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus, Cooperia, Oesophagostomum, Chabertia ovina, Trichuris ovis -
Respiratory nematodes:
Dictyocaulus filaria -
Gastrointestinal cestodes:
Moniezia, Helictometra -
Hepatic trematodes:
Fasciola hepatica
Used in cattle, sheep, and goats.
Dosage and Administration
Sheep and Goats:

For gastrointestinal and respiratory nematodes:
-
5 mg albendazole/kg body weight
-
or 2 mL per 10 kg body weight

For Fasciola hepatica:
-
7.5 mg/kg body weight
-
or 3 mL per 10 kg body weight

Cattle:
-
For gastrointestinal and respiratory nematodes:

7.5 mg/kg body weight

or 3 mL per 10 kg body weight

For Fasciola hepatica:

10 mg/kg body weight
-
or 4 mL per 10 kg body weight

Note:
Dose and duration should preferably be determined by a veterinarian.
Contraindications

Do not use during the first month of pregnancy.
Withdrawal Period

Cattle: 14 days before slaughter

Sheep and goats: 10 days before slaughter
-
Milk: Do not use milk for human consumption until 3 days after the last treatment
Adverse Effects
-
No adverse effects have been observed in ruminants when used at recommended doses.
Precautions
