Composition

Each milliliter of Sulfaverdin Forte contains:

  • Sulfaquinoxaline: 25.6 mg

  • Diaveridine: 6.4 mg

Indications

The combined use of sulfaquinoxaline and diaveridine enhances their therapeutic effect and results in faster control and treatment of various forms of coccidiosis and associated conditions, including:

  • Coccidiosis caused by Eimeria tenella, Eimeria acervulina, Eimeria maxima, and Eimeria necatrix, and the diarrhea associated with these infections

  • Control of mortality caused by fowl cholera (Pasteurella multocida)

  • Reduction in the incidence of typhoid caused by Salmonella gallinarum in turkeys

  • Prevention of embryonic mortality and reduction of hatchability losses in breeder flocks during periods of coccidiosis risk

Dosage and Administration

Administer 3 liters of Sulfaverdin Forte per 1000 liters of drinking water for 3 days, then discontinue treatment for 2 days, and resume treatment for another 3 days.

Note:
Dosage and duration of treatment may vary depending on the type and severity of the disease and should preferably be determined by a veterinarian or clinician.

Contraindications

Use of Sulfaverdin Forte is contraindicated in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.

Withdrawal Period

  • Broiler chickens: discontinue use 5 days before slaughter

  • Breeder poultry: discontinue use 28 days before the onset of egg production

Precautions

  • After opening the container, the product should be used within 60 days.

  • The prepared medicated solution must be consumed within 24 hours.
