Benzalkonium chloride: 6.25%

Indications

  • Disinfection of hatcheries (incubation facilities)

  • Disinfection of poultry houses, cages, and poultry equipment (drinkers and feeders)

  • Disinfection of transport vehicles, entrance footbaths of farms and poultry houses

  • Disinfection of livestock housing, calving pens, calf barns, veterinary hospitals, and slaughterhouses

  • Disinfection of vehicle and animal passage footbaths, floors, and boots

  • Disinfection of food and dairy processing plants, cold stores, and food storage warehouses

Dosage and Method of Use
First dilute Kimia Glutar according to the following ratios:

  • Surfaces and equipment that have been previously cleaned: 1:100

  • Surfaces, equipment, and entrance footbaths with high contamination (no specific disease present): 1:50

  • Surfaces, equipment, and entrance footbaths with high contamination during disease outbreaks: 1:20

  • Tools and equipment: 1:50 dilution with 30 minutes contact time

Note: Dilution must be carried out using clean, cold water. Once diluted, the disinfectant solution should be used within 48 hours.

Application Methods

  • Fogging or spraying for air disinfection in halls

  • Spraying for washing and disinfecting halls

  • Immersion method for washing and disinfecting equipment

  • Fogging with Kimia Glutar is an effective alternative to fumigation with formalin and potassium permanganate

Precautions

  • Wear appropriate protective clothing, gloves, mask, and goggles during use; avoid inhalation of vapors and spray.

  • Swallowing is dangerous; contact with skin is corrosive and may cause irritation.

  • In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention.

  • Use only in well-ventilated areas.

  • Keep away from water sources, food, and animals.
