Composition
Each gram of Kimia Colist 3® powder contains 3,000,000 IU of colistin sulfate.
Indications
Kimia Colist 3® is indicated for the treatment of diseases caused by colistin-sensitive bacterial agents, including hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, salmonellosis, and colibacillosis.
Dosage and Administration
Poultry
75,000 IU of pure colistin per kg of live body weight per day for 3–5 days (equivalent to 4 mg of Kimia Colist 3®).
This dosage corresponds to:

100 g of Kimia Colist 3® per 500 liters of drinking water, or
-
100 g of Kimia Colist 3® per 250 kg of feed,
depending on age and body weight.
Calves and Lambs
50,000 IU per kg of body weight every 12 hours, administered via drinking water or mixed with supplementary feed during the suckling period.
Note: Dosage and duration of treatment may vary depending on the type and severity of the disease and should be determined by a veterinarian.
Contraindications
When administered at the recommended dosage and with observance of the withdrawal period, the use of colistin is not contraindicated in any poultry species.
