Description
Composition
Each gram of KIMIA MOLIN 10® powder contains:

Tiamulin (Hydrogen Fumarate): 100 mg
Indications
Used for the treatment of mycoplasmal infections (chronic respiratory disease) in poultry.
Tiamulin hydrogen fumarate is effective against:
-
Gram-positive bacteria (Streptococcus, Staphylococcus spp.)

Certain Gram-negative bacteria (Campylobacter, Pasteurella multocida, Ornithobacterium)
-
Anaerobic bacteria (Clostridium perfringens)
-
Spirochetes
-
Mycoplasma species (Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae)
Dosage and Administration
Depending on the age and type of poultry:

25–50 mg of tiamulin per kg of live body weight per day for 3–5 consecutive days
This dosage is typically achieved by mixing 500 ppm tiamulin in feed, equivalent to:

5 kg of Tiamulin 10% premix per 1 metric ton of feed
Contraindications
None.
Drug Interactions
Avoid concurrent use with ionophore anticoccidials such as salinomycin, monensin, narasin, and maduramicin for at least one week before and after administration of tiamulin.
