Description
Composition
Each gram of KIMIA NEO 20 powder contains:

Neomycin Sulfate: 200 mg
Indications
KIMIA NEO 20 is used for the treatment of diseases such as:
-
White scours in calves
-
Colibacillosis in sheep and goats
-
Salmonellosis
-
Reproductive and gastrointestinal infections in cattle and sheep
This product is also indicated for the treatment of bacterial diseases sensitive to neomycin, including:

Blue comb disease in turkeys
-
Enteritis in poultry caused by E. coli, Salmonella pullorum, and Salmonella gallinarum
Dosage and Administration
Livestock:
-
12–14 mg of neomycin sulfate per kg of body weight
(equivalent to 0.6–0.7 g of KIMIA NEO 20® per 10 kg body weight) -
Administer for 3–5 days
Poultry:
-
22 mg of pure neomycin per kg of live body weight per day
(equivalent to 110 mg of KIMIA NEO 20®)
or -
1000 g of KIMIA NEO 20® in 1000 liters of drinking water for 3–5 days
(duration and dosage depend on age and body weight)
Contraindications
-
Should not be used in cases of renal failure, intestinal obstruction, or hypersensitivity to the drug

Do not use in laying poultry whose eggs are intended for human consumption (during the laying period)
Drug Interactions
Concurrent administration of neomycin with macrolides, florfenicol, other aminoglycosides, or diuretics may result in drug interactions.
