Composition

Each gram of Kimia Salat-C® powder contains:

  • Calcium Carbasalate: 770 mg
    (equivalent to 600 mg Acetylsalicylic Acid)

  • Sodium Ascorbate: 75.2 mg
    (equivalent to 66.5 mg Ascorbic Acid)

Indications

  • Increased resistance to infectious diseases (avian influenza, CRD, colibacillosis, etc.)

  • Increased resistance to environmental stressors such as heat, cold, and other stresses

  • Reduction of disease-related complications (fever, pain, inflammation, etc.)

  • Enhancement of immune response during vaccination

  • Improved fertility and hatchability in breeder poultry

  • Improvement of eggshell quality and reduction of metabolic disorders in broiler poultry, such as tibial dyschondroplasia and femoral degeneration

Dosage and Administration

Poultry

200 g of Kimia Salat-C® powder per 500 liters of drinking water for 5 days.

Calves, Lambs, Horses, and Dogs

Body Weight Dosage Duration
< 50 kg 0.5–3 g 2–3 consecutive days
50–150 kg 3–8 g 2–3 consecutive days
> 150 kg 8–30 g 2–3 consecutive days

Contraindications

  • In laying hens, consumption of eggs is prohibited during the treatment period.

  • Do not use in cats.

Withdrawal Period

Discontinue use 7 days prior to slaughter.

Precautions

  • The prepared solution must be used within a maximum of 12 hours.

Drug Interactions

  • Do not administer concurrently with steroids or other NSAIDs.

  • Concurrent use with indomethacin, naproxen, or fenoprofen may reduce plasma concentrations of these drugs.
