Composition<\/h2>\n

Each milliliter of Kimia Difloxacin\u00ae<\/strong> contains 114.6 mg of difloxacin hydrochloride<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Indications<\/h2>\n

Used for the prevention, control, and treatment<\/strong> of diseases caused by difloxacin-sensitive bacterial pathogens<\/strong>, including colibacillosis, CRD complex, and pasteurellosis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Dosage and Administration<\/h2>\n

10 mg of pure difloxacin per kg of live body weight per day<\/strong> (equivalent to 100 mg of Kimia Difloxacin\u00ae<\/strong>), or 500 mL of Kimia Difloxacin\u00ae per 1,000 liters of drinking water<\/strong>, for 3\u20135 days<\/strong>, depending on age and body weight.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> Dosage and duration of treatment may vary according to the type and severity of the disease and should be determined by a veterinarian.<\/p>\n

Contraindications<\/h2>\n

    Use of difloxacin is contraindicated in poultry affected by osteoporosis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Contraindicated in laying poultry within 4 weeks prior to the onset of egg production<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Drug Interactions<\/h2>\n

    Concurrent administration with multivalent cations<\/strong> such as calcium, magnesium, and aluminum<\/strong> reduces the absorption of difloxacin.<\/p>\n

    Withdrawal Period<\/h2>\n

    Discontinue use 1 day prior to slaughter of poultry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
