Antibiotic<\/h2>\n

Composition<\/h2>\n

Each gram of Kimia Chlortetracycline 20\u00ae powder<\/strong> contains 200 mg of chlortetracycline hydrochloride<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Indications<\/h2>\n

Kimia Chlortetracycline 20\u00ae<\/strong> is mainly effective against aerobic and anaerobic Gram-positive bacteria<\/strong> such as Staphylococci, Streptococci, and Clostridium species<\/strong>, as well as certain Gram-negative bacteria<\/strong> including E. coli, Pasteurella, Haemophilus, and Klebsiella<\/strong>.
It is also effective against Mycoplasma, Rickettsia, Chlamydia, Spirochetes<\/strong>, and some protozoa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It is used for the prevention, control, and treatment<\/strong> of diseases caused by these microorganisms, including:<\/p>\n

    Colibacillosis, CRD complex, and infectious synovitis<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Infectious coryza, fowl cholera, and blue comb disease (turkeys)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Gastrointestinal infections<\/strong>, microbial diarrhea<\/strong>, and white diarrhea of chicks<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Dosage and Administration<\/h2>\n

    20\u201330 mg of pure chlortetracycline per kg of live body weight per day<\/strong>, or 700\u20131,000 g of Kimia Chlortetracycline 20\u00ae per 1,000 liters of drinking water<\/strong>, for 5\u20137 days<\/strong>, depending on age and body weight.<\/p>\n

    Note:<\/strong> Dosage and method of administration may vary according to the type and severity of the disease and should be determined by a veterinarian.<\/p>\n

    Contraindications<\/h2>\n

    Contraindicated in cases of hypersensitivity to chlortetracycline<\/strong> and in animals with hepatic or renal insufficiency<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Drug Interactions<\/h2>\n

    Concurrent administration of chlortetracycline with aminoglycosides, macrolides, beta-lactams<\/strong>, and divalent or trivalent cations<\/strong> may result in drug interactions.<\/p>\n
