Antibiotic<\/h2>\n

Composition<\/h2>\n

Each milliliter of Kimia Neo 20-S\u00ae<\/strong> contains 200 mg of neomycin sulfate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Indications<\/h2>\n

Kimia Neo 20-S\u00ae<\/strong> is indicated for the prevention, control, and treatment<\/strong> of diseases caused by neomycin-sensitive bacteria<\/strong>, including blue comb disease in turkeys<\/strong>, bacterial enteritis<\/strong>, and enteritis associated with CRD in poultry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It is also used for the treatment of white scours in calves<\/strong>, colibacillosis in cattle, sheep, and goats<\/strong>, and salmonellosis in cattle and sheep<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Dosage and Administration<\/h2>\n

Broiler and Laying Chickens<\/h3>\n

    From day 1 to day 14:<\/strong>
    1 liter per 4,000 liters of drinking water<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    From week 3 to week 5:<\/strong>
    1 liter per 3,000 liters of drinking water<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    From 6 weeks of age to the end of the rearing period:<\/strong>
    1 liter per 2,000\u20132,500 liters of drinking water<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Administer for 3\u20135 days<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Turkeys<\/h3>\n

      From day 1 to day 7:<\/strong>
      1 liter per 2,500 liters of drinking water<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      From weeks 9 to 26:<\/strong>
      1 liter per 1,200 liters of drinking water<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Administer for 3\u20135 days<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      Cattle, Sheep, and Goats<\/h3>\n

      11 mL of solution per 100 kg of body weight<\/strong>
      (equivalent to 22 mg of neomycin sulfate per kg of body weight<\/strong>)
      administered via drinking water for 3\u20135 days<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

        Treatment should be continued for 24\u201348 hours after clinical signs have resolved<\/strong> (up to a maximum of 14 consecutive days<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        If clinical signs persist 2\u20133 days after starting treatment<\/strong>, consult a veterinarian.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Contraindications<\/h2>\n
          \n
        • \n

          Contraindicated in cases of renal insufficiency<\/strong>, intestinal obstruction<\/strong>, and hypersensitivity to aminoglycosides<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Do not use in dairy cows during lactation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Discontinue use prior to slaughter.
            Eggs from treated hens must not be consumed by humans for 14 days after the last administration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
