Composition<\/h2>\n

Each gram of Kimia Doxy 50\u00ae powder<\/strong> contains 577 mg of doxycycline hyclate (hydrochloride)<\/strong>, equivalent to 500 mg of doxycycline base<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Indications<\/h2>\n

Indicated for the control, prevention, and treatment<\/strong> of a wide range of diseases caused by doxycycline-sensitive bacteria<\/strong>, including:<\/p>\n

    Pasteurellosis<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Mycoplasmosis<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Infectious coryza<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Staphylococcal and streptococcal infections<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Urinary excretion of doxycycline is lower than other tetracyclines<\/strong>; therefore, it is considered a suitable therapeutic option in cases of renal insufficiency<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Dosage and Administration<\/h2>\n

    Poultry<\/h3>\n

    10\u201320 mg of pure doxycycline per kg of live body weight per day<\/strong>,
    or 200\u2013400 g of Kimia Doxy 50\u00ae per 1,000 liters of drinking water<\/strong> for 3\u20135 days<\/strong>, depending on age and body weight.<\/p>\n

    Turkeys<\/h3>\n

    200\u2013400 g of Kimia Doxy 50\u00ae per 1,000 liters of drinking water<\/strong> for 3\u20135 days<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Contraindications<\/h2>\n
